:w00t: First comment! OK, I can only see 2 problems with this: 1. The fingers look a little bit too long, and 2. the ribcage/chest cavity looks too small. Other than that, I think this is great!

I am surprised you didn't win, but I can spot a few things that may have caused you to lose. The chest is a little shallow, filling it out just a slight bit might give the dragon a more powerful and less serpentine look. I also think the wings a a little too slender at the base. They don't look strong enough to lift the dragon and rider. But overall, it's a wonderful picture. I love the way you even made the wings semi-transparent.
